Mechanical or Flat
In the occurrence of a flat tire or a mechanical where no one is hurt:
- Please stop and ensure all cyclists and their bikes are completely off the roadway.
- If you require help, please call Bruce Copeland at 780.289.6680
- If you believe you can fix the flat or mechanical, please contact the group via WhatsApp if they did not stop with you.
Weather & Smoke
The rides will be held rain or shine except in the case of persistent lightning present in the surrounding or immediate area or if the Air Quality Index is 7 or greater, as per our insurance certificate. Always assume the ride is 'on' unless you've heard otherwise. You will receive a notification if the ride has been canceled via the WhatsApp group or email.
EMERGENCY
Under the unfortunate occurrence of an emergency involving an injury:
- Please ensure everyone is completely off the roadway.
- Assess the injury and whether to call 911. If there is a question, call 911.
- If you have several in your group, ensure one person calls 911 while another administers help.
